What Reyd is

Reyd is an RSS reader application that fetches and displays content from RSS and Atom feeds you choose to add. Reyd is a neutral personal reading tool. It does not produce, host, curate, or editorially endorse any content. All content displayed in the app originates from third-party publishers and feed providers.

Your responsibility for feeds

You are solely responsible for the feeds you add to Reyd. By adding a feed, you represent that you are permitted to access and use that feed under the feed provider's own terms, policies, and applicable laws. Reyd has no control over third-party content and accepts no liability for content accessed through feeds you have added.

Automated sentiment analysis

Reyd uses on-device AI models to analyze the emotional tone of articles. This analysis is automated and is not reviewed or verified by a human. Sentiment scores are approximate indicators only and should not be relied upon as accurate or complete assessments of any article or its content. The analysis is provided as a reading aid, not as editorial judgment.

Third-party content and feeds

Reyd functions as a personal RSS and Atom feed reader. The app only retrieves information that publishers and feed providers make publicly available through RSS or Atom feeds. Reyd does not bypass paywalls, access restricted systems, scrape protected content, or reproduce full articles. For complete reading, Reyd links directly to the publisher's original website or article.

All third-party content displayed through Reyd remains the property of its respective owners and is subject to the publisher's own terms, copyright policies, and access rules. Reyd does not claim ownership of any third-party content and does not editorially endorse such content.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of any feed or publisher content complies with applicable terms, policies, laws, and regulations. Reyd accepts no responsibility or liability for third-party content, feed availability, publisher restrictions, or user misuse of feeds or content sources.

Purchase

Reyd is available as a free download with one feed included. Additional feeds are unlocked via a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. All purchases are subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Sale. Reyd does not handle payment information directly. Refund requests are handled through Apple in accordance with their policies.

No warranty

Reyd is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Reyd makes no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy of analysis, or uninterrupted access to third-party feeds or content. Feed availability depends on third-party providers outside Reyd's control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Reyd's developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or content accessed through it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from the use of Reyd shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of Reyd after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
